If you're not familiar with web development a lot of terms can be confusing.
Here's a quick rundown of ones you might have seen us use.

A term often used by agencies. A business' site will normally fall in to two categories- an ecommerce site (a shop site in need of payment processing, database etc) or a brochure site which we specialise in- static HTML sites that only provide information like a real life brochure would.
Your URL to the site. It normally will end in .com or .co.uk. On this site it is https://www.suddenwebsites.com. It is very important that you own it yourself- we can help you set it up and manage it in your name.
The small icon you see on your browser tab or when you bookmark a site.
TODOLAW
You might have heard of this- this is how we can place a Google Map on on your page. There is a very small charge for this from Google but we cover this.
"Hypertext Markup Language" or just the "code" we use to write your site with
When a client or yourself shares a link to Facebook or other social media we can set how the link appears and what the titles and images are. We do this for you in the Open Graph data
Even static html sites need one of these to help search engines recognise them as a legitimate site and to encrypt user connections.
